i wish there were more dead dove communities

 i did a little search through this site, and there don't seem to be any active communities for dead dove. which is sad and almost makes me want to open my own. i don't have the energy to run something like that, and i imagine finding members for it would be a pain, so i'm not going to do it, but it does suck that there don't seem to be bigger spaces for this type of thing on dreamwidth.

Felt! I wish there were more dead dove communities in general. It's not dreamwidth, but I do know a darkfic discord server that's pretty active and super chill. Let me know if you want an invite and I'll see if I can get one for you!

i'm on a few dead dove discord servers, so i'm covered on that front, but i really wish there were more social spaces for this type of thing. a few years back some people attempted to make a fandom social media with a focus on anti harrassment but the whole thing was sooo poorly planned out and there was a lot of really ugly controversies... a shame, because i think the idea was nice, but i don't think a lot of people realize how much it takes to run an entire website and app. it's not something a bunch of random people with no real experience can just do.

It really is such a shame that it didn't work out! Go figure though, social media can be a bitch to manage from what I've heard.
